Can a customer prevent auto-enrollment?

For newly established PG&E accounts, all customers will be automatically enrolled per Assembly Bill 117 (AB 117). When a city or county decides to participate in a CCA, all their residents and businesses are automatically enrolled. Nevertheless, if a customer wishes to remain with PG&E, they may do so by opting out within 60 days of the auto-enrollment to avoid being placed on PG&E's Transitional Bundled Commodity Cost (TBCC) rate.
